On Sunday, May 15th between 11:00am and 2:00 pm, Reynold and Matt Senjem will be playing a show at the Seward Community Co-op Co-op in South Minneapolis.
A fixture since 1972, few people could have imagined it would grow to be the thriving community center and source of healthful food it is today. From a few working volunteers, Seward Co-op has grown to more than 13,000 owners. Store sales are nearly $35 million, and the co-op now employs more than 300 people. What’s most important, though, is that amidst great success and profitability, the co-op has remained true to its Ends, never losing sight of its commitment to its owners and the greater community.
