One day in late March of 2020 I wrote this song quite spontaneously. That does not happen often.
I then recorded it on my iPhone in the backroom of our house. I hardly expected the recording to be anything but a demo. An in-the-moment “phone” recording rarely comes out this well. Or at least, it is a rare thing for me.
This recording is just me sitting in my backroom with a Fender Telecaster, small Fishman amp and an iPhone.
I had a concept for a video and passed it on to my friend Rene Erickson. By that evening he had created this video. The whole song from conception to video took less than twelve hours.
This will probably never happen again but I am certainly glad it did this once.
There is a vocal and lyrics at the end, so just wait for it. The lyrics (and images) are the whole point.
