My latest album was released on January 3, 2020. That album is “All You Can Do” (is all you can do).
Because that release date was right at the start of the pandemic, that album fell between the cracks.
Usually, I do some radio and performance promo at the very least but Covid put the kibosh on those plans.
That happened to many recordings released 2020-2023.
So I have decided to sort of “re-release” the album with some proper promotion. I have engaged a promotional company. Starting March 12, 2024, the album will be promoted to 100 radio stations and there will be a digital/video/streaming promotion as well.
The first single and video that will be promoted is, “Sweet On You.”
______
“Sweet On You”
(Composed by Reynold D. Philipsek 2013 and 2019 copyright Zino-Rephi Music BMI)

This song and video is a track from the “All You Can Do” album. A lot of people have told me they wish I would record more vocal music. I especially hear this at a live gig because I usually sing a few songs and that sometimes surprises people who only think of me as a guitar player.
This, in turn, surprises me because I have sung at most of my gigs my entire life going back to the age of twelve. It also seems a little profound (to me at least) that at this point in my life, I am hyping a “single.”
The first single I was a part of was “Oval Portrait” by the Cure of Ares when I was a sophomore in high school. Things are not all that different in that regard.
I have a special fondness for this song. From a lyric standpoint, it is very straightforward, revealing, and honest.
Yes, I do credit Mary with a great deal of patience in putting up with me for 45 years. (The guitar solo does have a brief quote from Jimi’s “The Wind Cries Mary”.)
