This is another video consisting of further outtakes from the 2017 documentary, “A Life Well Played,” which was directed by Rene Erickson.
I have worked pretty intensely at building a solo guitar repertoire during the past 25 years. As a result I have about 30 fairly solid pieces.
These days I’ve come back to preferring vocal track songs and recordings but there is a lot to be said for being able to put across a musical idea with a solo acoustic instrument.
Here are eight solo performances. As AI generated music becomes more and more of a real thing maybe these quaint old human performances will become a real historical artifact.
