Maybe this is just aimless self-aggrandizement but it always has seemed to me that musicians are a bit like the central character in the Johnny Appleseed myth. They are itinerant workers who hopefully are sowing some small seeds of happiness or, at least, providing some small respite from daily worries.
There is a lot of truth in the old maxim that if you are doing what you love you will never work a day in your life. This has been the case for me because, as Mark Twain said, “I don’t like work even when someone else is doing it.” (Early on I tried manual labor, and it is definitely not my thing.)
This is another track recorded with Matt and Michael. I will be doing several gigs with Michael and Matt this coming summer and those dates will be posted by early May at my site.
Headphones really help on catching everything in the mix.
Be kind.
Love,
Reyn
