In French, the word “rue” refers to a street, avenue, or place. I was attempting to express the musical “picture” of an imaginary and timeless place. I like the idea of insinuating a vague location of time and place.
This song was one of the only things I wrote and recorded in 2021, although I did remodel a couple of older pieces for video and a limited edition CD in 2021.
Since then, I have re-released my last album “All You Can Do” and several new pieces for video including “Life Is Short” which was done in May 2024.
