I have played this song off and on for over 40 years. The music was written by the late Michel Legrand for the 1969 film “The Happy Ending”. I have even done this song at a few weddings for friends.
Talk about an obscure recording, even I forgot that we recorded it. Like all Legrand songs it has great changes and melody. Matt and I really do well in this intimate duo setting and I’m glad there a more than a few recordings to document it. My wife (a big fan of romantic songs) likes this one a lot.
