I have made very few recordings with the typically “dark” sound of an archtop electric jazz guitar. That was the typical sound of most jazz guitar records in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Though guitarists like Jim Hall and even Pat Martino to some extent played with this tone well into the 2000’s. I am using a Gibson ES 165 guitar. Tempus Fugit means “time flies” and it sure does.
This trio has several live dates this summer. All info at reynold.com
